Celebrating the life and legacy of Obinna Okogeri

The Ejigbo mini stadium in Lagos was filled with family, friends, and colleagues who gathered to pay tribute to the late Obinna Okogeri, a seasoned pharmacy marketer.

The ceremony was marked by emotional tributes and heartfelt eulogies.

Speakers described Obinna as a shining example of selflessness, dedicated to the well-being of others.

His visionary leadership, ability to connect with people, and capacity to bring individuals together were highlighted.

His sister, Daisy Awonnia Polycarp, who could not hold back her tears, described Obinna as her best friend and confidant whose vacuum caused by death cannot be filled.

In her heartfelt tribute Dr. (Mrs.) Mercy Alu, a childhood friend who flew in from the United States to attend the tribute service, remembered Obinna as a legend who would go to great lengths to put a smiles on anyone’s face, adding that late Obinna was a true servant of the people, and his passing leaves a void that can never be filled.

She described late Obinna Okogeri as hardworking, analytical, dependable and helpful friend.

Mr. Francis Akpomojeri, Major Nkem Uduma, and Mr Aloysious Ikwor, shared fond memories of Obinna, praising his kindness, compassion, and generosity.

In his sermon, Prophet Lawrence Obinwanne, celebrated Obinna’s life and legacy, recalling his unwavering faith, commitment to spiritual growth. saying his tireless efforts to uplift the people,support the vulnerable, and promote justice will never be forgotten.

The tribute service featured soul-stirring musical performances and prayer sessions.

Late Mr Obinna Okogeri was survived by a son, Joshua Okogeri, brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, Aunties and host of other relatives.
