The President of the Iree Progressive Association, Aare Engr Wole Taiwo and the Asiwaju of Iree land, Engr Adenrele Afolabi have said Mischievous dissemination of false information can undermine trust in institutions and lead to chaos in society.

The IPA President in a statement signed on behalf of Asiwaju of Iree was reacting to Information making the rounds across social media in which says the court halt the coronation of the 16th Aree of Iree

The Association in the text obtained by Honourable FM however, reaffirmed that Coronation holds tomorrow as scheduled urging all the indigene of the country both home and diaspora to grace the ceremony.

“Attention all Iree indigenes! You are cordially invited to a special collection event tomorrow to receive the instruments of staff of office for the Aree of Iree.”

Meanwhile, Oba Oyelakin in a video posted online on the Honourable FM Facebook handle, saya ceremony will hold as planned and he implored residents of the community to be in attendance.
