Adeleke, Ooni, Other Monarch to attend Coronation of 16th Aree of Iree

Osun State governor, Adeleke Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke; the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi and other traditional rulers are expected to attend the coronation and presentation of staff of office to the to His Royal Majesty Oba, MURITALA OMOTAYO OYELAKIN, OYEKUN III as the 16th Aree of Iree in Boripe North LCDA of Osun State.

Honourable FM gathered that the coronation ceremony is scheduled for May 4, 2024 at the Baptist High School field Iree:to present instrument of appointment and staff of office to the 16th Aree of Iree.

It also leant that aside from Governor Adeleke who will present the staff of office to the traditional ruler and the Ooni of Ife, also other traditional rulers’ across the country had been invited.

After fulfilling all the traditional rights ,His Royal Majesty Oba MURITALA OMOTAYO OYELAKIN from the OYEKUN Rulling house had been installed to fill the vacant stool of Aree that had been there for almost 7 years .

As the choice of the people, notable personalities across the globe had been visiting iree town to pay homage and show their solidarity.
