Today, the Naira appreciates to N1,640 per dollar in the parallel market, up from N1,655 per dollar on Monday.
In the official foreign exchange market, the Naira also appreciated, reaching N1,526.3 per dollar.
According to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the exchange rate for the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) dropped to N1,526.3 per dollar from N1,533.5 per dollar on Monday, marking a N7.2 gain for the Naira.
As a result, the gap between the parallel market and NFEM rates decreased to N113.7 per dollar, down from N121.5 per dollar on Monday.
