President Bola Tinubu has extended his congratulations to President Donald Trump on being re-elected as the 47th President of the United States.
President Tinubu shared this through a statement from his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
He expressed his eagerness to deepen the relationship between Nigeria and the United States in light of today’s complex challenges and opportunities.
“By working together, we can enhance economic collaboration, advance peace, and tackle global challenges impacting our people.”
“Trump’s victory demonstrates the trust and confidence the American public has in his leadership.”
Onanuga stated that Tinubu believes President Trump’s prior experience as the 45th U.S. president from 2017 to 2021 will help bring about a new phase of meaningful, mutually beneficial economic and development partnerships between Africa and the United States as he returns to the White House as the 47th president.
